A marvelous sparkling wine, truly special, not to mention one of the rosé champagnes with the greatest impact on the market. In truth, this is a Bollinger SpÉcial Cuvée–a coupage of varieties of pinot noir (60%), chardonnay (25%) and pinot meunier (15%), in equal parts for the past two harvests, embellished with reserve wines to give character and confirm the style–to which they have added a small percentage, 5 to 6%, of red wine.
It displays an ample palette of aromas, among which fragrances of blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries, meadows… intermingled with nuts and wood, releasing an enormous amount of complexity. These sapid sensations are reproduced on the palate with consummate balance between acidity and sweetness, with certain bitter tones as well. Elegant, profound, ample, structured, voluptuous… with character and class. A bubbly wine, in all the senses.
Like the Bollinger Spécial Cuvée, it is unique in its genre.
