R. Voerzio Barolo dell’Annunziata/Torriglione 00

Nebbiolo 100%. Alcohol: 14.5%. Production: 5000 bottles.
Deep red color. A wide-ranging nose, suggestive and deep, with ethereal sensations at first, later becoming spiced and fruity, dense and pulpy. With notes of licorice, milk chocolate and cherry preserves followed by tobacco and violet, blackberry and rhubarb. On the palate it has a powerful impact, evidence of structure and great body, well defined and enveloping, with soft, precise tannins and a very long finish.
During the first year, the vinification of the grapes, from the Rocche dell’Annunziata and Torriglione vineyards in the municipality of La Morra, is done without the addition of selected yeasts or sulfurous anhydride; aging is done in Allier oak barrels, a quarter new, over 24 months.
